Advert description
I have a BA in languages and literature, and studied linguistics as well as grammar. I had an internship in a British School while I was assisting an English teacher and supported them during lessons to mature students. I assisted them with planning and structuring the lessons aiming at a gradual development of the students. I took this experience when teaching Italian as a volunteer to international students at intermediate level. The approach was the same even though they already knew a bit of the language and did not start from scratch. The first lesson is fundamental to understanding the knowledge of the students. This is the basis I can structure the following lessons on for a gradual acquisition of the language. For a proper language learning, it is important that it is clear for the student the foundation of the language: pronouns, how to conjugate tenses, gender. This is possible with practice, reading and exercises. Once they have this established in their mind, I gradually start to move the lessons towards an intermediate to an early advanced level, when they can use the theory they learnt through conversations. This refers to my target of students I teach, which is beginners or intermediate.
