Inspirational School Teacher for all levels

An enthusiastic educator with over fifteen years of teaching experience at all levels in education. My career in education has seen me teach at the Primary School level for four years and at the Secondary School level for eleven years. During this time I have also had the opportunity of teaching online at the post secondary level for two years. I am a competent Primary School teacher and an accomplished secondary school teacher in the areas of Religious Education and Physical Education possessing a wealth of knowledge and experience in both subjects having studied at the degree level and taught internationally. I have also studied at the Masters level equipping myself with the most effective methodologies to be effective in teaching in the 21st century. Complementing my studies, subject knowledge and years of experience is my ability to adapt quickly to different situations and tailor lessons to meet the varying needs and learning styles of my learners. I build conducive learning environments, whether online or in the physical space, and use regular feedback, positive reinforcement, technology and rewards to keep students engaged, motivated and on task.
I pride myself as an effective teacher and one who is very organized, patient and success oriented. I have clear and fair expectations of all my students and set high standards for them. I am keen on providing the necessary support to assist my students meeting the set standards and realizing their true potential. I have a proven record of building students' self-confidence, helping students improve their academic performances in addition to preparing and supporting students to gain quality passes in external examinations.
My philosophy dictates that every student has the potential to be successful and as such I seek out opportunities, utilize strategies and employ methodologies to facilitate this. I am keen on developing critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators and as a result I often play the role of facilitator, guiding students to be independent learners with a growth mindset as lifelong learners.
Lessons are carefully designed and structured based on ability and learning styles. They are usually engaging and student centered with an element of fun, requiring students to explore, research and be in charge of their own learning while being guided along the process.
