I strongly believe that praise is the best way to obtain positive outcomes on behaviour. 
I have taken on my own classes, in which I have made my own resources, planned lessons and have marked students work, therefore developing my skills in understanding of effective long-term planning, adaptive teaching and pupils progress. Alongside this, I pride myself on my ability to give positive and targeted support to students. I have a taught a variety of mixed ability classes which has helped me to better understand student strengths and progress in the classroom. I appreciate the importance of adaptive teaching to differentiate tasks and provide greater scaffolding for those who need it. Every student has their own needs and no two students are the same, so it is important that a variety of teaching methods are exercised. I always aim to offer learning experiences that stretch the pupils’ personal development, as it is important for students to always remain challenged within education. 
I believe it is important to stick to deadlines, developing relationships with pupils. I consistently promote high standards of classroom practice and have developed and used effective behaviour management strategies throughout my experience in schools. 
I understand that sometimes relationships between teachers and pupils can be difficult to manage when pupils do not apply themselves to their education, but one of my greatest strengths is my proactive nature and ability to communicate effectively.
