In my teaching approach, I start by introducing the topic, ensuring that the student understands the foundational concepts before we dive into more detailed aspects. This groundwork is crucial for building confidence and comprehension as we progress. After laying the foundation, we collectively tackle a variety of problems, which allows me to demonstrate problem-solving techniques and clarify any misunderstandings in real-time. Once the student feels more comfortable, I encourage them to solve problems independently. This step is vital as it helps them apply the concepts we've discussed and develop their problem-solving skills. During this phase, I provide guidance and support as needed, helping to reinforce their learning. To ensure a thorough understanding of the subject, I assign homework. This not only reinforces the day’s lessons but also helps students practice independently, solidifying their grasp of the material. My goal with this structured approach is to empower students to become confident and proficient in mathematics.
