I am a true believer in bringing academic skills and techniques to life in order to best understand and tackle future problems within the subject. Having both studied and applied teaching techniques to previous students, I pride myself on being able to identify which form of learning works best. A lesson will usually last 1-2 hours depending on the content we will be working through. The first session will be to understand what aspects of the subject(s) they understand or would like to focus on, followed by time to best identify how they learn best, allowing me to tailor the tutoring experience. After getting A*s and As in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics A-Levels, I went on to complete a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University. After graduating, I joined a pharmaceutical company, taking on multiple roles over the 4 years working there. Throughout University, professional work, and self-employment, I have gained 9 years in private tutoring.
