I work as a qualified social worker and have a BA (Hons) Applied Social Studies

I have been a qualified social worker for 23 years. These are my specialist areas:
Learning disabilities
Safeguarding
Older people including in a hospital setting.
Continuing health care.
Physical disabilities.

I also hold a GCSE grade A in English language.

I have worked in children’s settings and I hold a Btec Diploma in Nursery Nursing.

I have taken some personal studies in life coaching and basic CBT.

My social work studies gave me basic skills in counselling.

On a personal level I have been trustee in a foreign dog rescue charity and have a qualification in canine communication.

I have worked as a social work manager, so I understand and am proficient in motivating people.
