Advert description
I have more than 10 years of teaching physics experience in undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different countries. I received my PhD in Condensed Matter Physics with the background in Photonic Materials and Devices from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2013.
I am currently a senior lecturer at Department of Physics, Universiti Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. In my role as a physics lecturer at UM, I am committed to knowledge transfer activities, such as teaching and mentoring in the fields of applied physics, photonics and renewable energy. Over the past few years, I have lectured a PhD level course on spectroscopy, taught advanced quantum mechanics at the master’s degree level, and delivered lectures on optoelectronics at the undergraduate level for fourth-year students in engineering physics.
Last semester, based on feedback from my total 48 students, I received the overall satisfaction ratio of 94 percent. Recently, I collaborated with Coherent Corp., a leading American manufacturer of optical materials and semiconductors in Malaysia. Through this partnership, two of my postgraduate students at UM had the opportunity to work directly within the company, gaining industry experience that complemented their academic pursuits.
This position aligns perfectly with my expertise, interests and career background and I would be grateful if you would kindly consider my application.
