I am currently working as a DST-INSPIRE Faculty in the department of Physics at IISER Mohali, India and am actively involved in the multi-wavelength study of accreting compact objects, including both neutron stars and black hole
Being a Royal Society Newton International Fellow and INSPIRE faculty, I have also demonstrated effective leadership skills, mentoring various Master and PhD students (15+ BS-MS students, 2 junior research fellow, 1 senior research fellow and 1 research associate). I led the design of course on High Energy Astrophysics (PHY669) at IISER Mohali and taught this course as a main instructor. In addition, I have also taught a theory course on Astrophysics (PHY 637) as a main instructor. I have worked as a co-instructor in various
physics teaching labs.
