I believe the best way to learn is to teach, so once I feel my student has grasped a concept well, I would challenge them to simplify this knowledge and explain it to me as if I were unaware. I also believe practice makes close to perfect, so I would put emphasis on guiding them through questions until they can comfortably walk on their own feet.
