Medical Student with Degree in Medical Neuroscience tutoring A Level Biology via interactive zoom lessons!

Hi there!

I`m Ciara and I tutor AQA A level Psychology and Biology (EDUQAS also taught), GCSE Biology and Med School Entrance Interviews. I have a BSc (Hons) in Medical Neuroscience from University of Sussex, and I am currently studying Medicine. Studying the brain has always fascinated me and my long term plan is to become a surgeon!

I have a passion to help each any every one of my students improve on their subject, increase their confidence and ace their exams! Being a student myself, I know how confusing it can be when figuring out how to revise effectively and get specific marks in exams - but thats what I`m here to help you with. Whether you`re already in school/college, a GCSE student wanting to get a head start on your A-Level subjects in summer, or you need help with your medicine application/interview, I can accommodate to what each student needs. Not only will we cover content knowledge in our sessions, but we will carefully go over exam questions to solidify your exam technique and I will help you find the best active content revision style for you. In each lesson we will go over content knowledge and exam questions, then we can go through them together, work out where you pick up and lose marks, and work out individual strengths and weaknesses. Before we start with our first lessons, I talk to the students to work out strengths and weaknesses, and what topics we want to start with to ensure we get the most out of our time. For 2nd year students, I work collaboratively with them to structure a revision schedule closer to their final exams.
