As you read, highlight important information, so that you can find it again later. A mind map is a kind of framework. It is a way of helping you to organise, visualise and summarise. Work in small study groups to talk through key concepts. Highlight key words in articles or handouts. UIse diagrams, graphics and pictures to augment what they say in words. Text should be broken down into short sentences. Images should be selected to represent each sentence of text where possible. Language should be simplified wherever possible, and any necessary complicated words or terms should be explained.
