Advert description
We’ll start with an introduction session with the student, to understand their current knowledge, interests, and goals in psychology. upon this discussion, I will create a tailored learning plan that outlines the topics we will cover over the timeline of our lessons. Each week, we will focus on a specific module that covers key concepts, theories, and applications in psychology. As each individual learns differently, I think it is important to cater each lesson to include a mix of textual explanations, visual aids (diagrams, charts, videos), and interactive content. To reinforce engagement, role-playing exercises to enhance better understandings of psychological concepts and their implications will be implemented in my sessions. As thinking critically, is a vital component of A- level psychology, we will review and critically analyse mandatory and independent research studies and classic experiments in psychology. If requested, I will recommend books, academic journals, and online resources for you to explore further. To measure whether the students believe I am making the most out of the lessons, I will host regular feedback sessions to discuss the students' progress, challenges, and refine our learning approach. In my sessions I will cover the foundational concepts, branches of psychology (cognitive, behavioural, developmental, clinical and social), and applied psychology. overall, I believe I have extensive knowledge of various psychological disciplines, supported by up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and theories as I am excelling in my degree. Although I may not have a range of experience in teaching psychology, I believe I can still incorporate to a diverse range of learners as I am dedicated to providing personalised support and feedback to help the students achieve their learning goals.
