Experienced Science Teacher, Biology Specialist

I am an enthusiastic science teacher with a lot of experience teaching children aged 11-18. I offer support in KS3 and KS4 Chemistry and Biology and A-level Biology. I'm a qualified teacher with Post Graduation Certificate in Education and a Masters Degree in Biology. I work in a very calm and organised manner to help students to excel in science. Adept at actively engaging students whilst providing comprehensive instruction, I strive to ensure that students have a firm grasp of key concepts from the required course materials whilst simultaneously developing in them a desire to learn and a love of science. As a personal tutor, I use a range of resources such as past paper questions to help pupils understand difficult concepts and prepare them for examination success. I am up to date with the latest revised GCSE Science & A-Level Biology syllabuses. I am well-resourced and familiar with the specification of all the main exam boards.
