I have a profound interest in chemistry, and love teaching it. After getting a grade nine at GCSE in the most recent exam series, I know what it takes to get the top grades. I hope to pass on my interest of chemistry to my students through using interactive and innovative teaching methods.

I am studying four a-levels (Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Physics) so I am constantly gaining knowledge at a more advanced level.

I know first-hand the struggle of trying to get top grades, but I also know how to get them, and will use my recent experience to ensure my students get the best results for the hard-work they put in.

I specialise in the AQA GCSE chemistry course, but I am competent with other exam boards like Edexcel and OCR.

I have a profound love for chemistry, and I hope to pass on my keen interest in the field to my prospective students. My lessons will be fun and interactive, as I truly believe engagement and active recall and the most beneficial techniques that allow students to thrive and be able to truly understand the most difficult of topics. I will ensure to construct a holistic picture of my students, finding their strengths and weaknesses, before constructing a comprehensive plan of the best way to get them to working at grades seven and above. I believe in building a foundation of chemical principles, before then branching off into more complex topics, for I think the main struggle when it comes to chemistry is a lack of understanding. By the time exams are near, I will ensure students are well-versed in all topics, making even the most difficult of questions become reasonable.
