I hold a BSc (Psychology and Neuroscience), BMedSc (Hons I) (Microbiology and Molecular Biology) and completed my PhD in Microbial Pathogenesis and Vaccinology.

I have 4 years experience as a tutor and university demonstrator teaching a range of subjects, including microbiology, biochemistry to bioinformatics. I have a passion for teaching and fostering learning in my students and like to employ a mix of real-world analogies and humour to make complex topics seem more manageable. I believe that learning environments should be fun and engaging and students should feel that their ongoing education is an enjoyable experience.
