Learn to draw for your own characters or comics

I have an Mdes in Comics and have been teaching on YouTube for 2 years. I struggled to teach myself online and I've been frustrated many, many times. Most of the time I didn't know what questions to ask, let alone try and find the answers.

I believe that drawing has to be fun and you have to feel like you're working towards your goals. Drawing boxes and shapes in perspective is important but it can get a little bit boring sometimes, too. So why can't we design our characters or create our comics at the same time?

There are a lot of things to consider but if we keep things simple, we'll be well on our way to gaining the skills we need to improve.
