I would like to teach political communication and social science research methods to both secondary school and university students and professionals. I can delivery private lessons based on 1-to-1 base or tutor students with their homeworks or university

I found myself passionate about teaching and helping students through doing Graduate Teaching Assistant jobs in my department and being a tutor in the School Tutoring Programme organised by The Brilliant Club. As an international BAME student, I found that I can resonate with students from disadvantaged background, so I can better understand their struggling when preparing for university applications and during their university lifes. I am also surprised that my experience can actually inspire my students and help students to challenge and find out new ways of achieve their goals, even goals that they had never imaged before.

So based on the reflection above, I prefer to teach students and adjust the teaching content based on their individual needs. Besides, I like to work with students as a team like friends, rather than tutor-student relationship. This could make me know them much better so they would have more trust in me.
