I am certified Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, I gained my qualification in Goa, India.
I would be very excited to guide you through either a slow flow or a dynamic and transformative yoga practice.
In our classes, we will focus on the flowing movement of Vinyasa yoga, minfulness of Hatha and the discipline and structure of Ashtanga yoga.
My teaching often combines these styles to create a balanced and well-rounded practice that challenges the body and mind.
Each class includes a warm-up to prepare the body for movement, followed by a sequence of poses that flow together with the breath. The sequence is designed to build strength and flexibility, while also promoting mindfulness and inner calm. Depending on student ability, you can expect to move through sun salutations, sitting poses, standing poses, maybe even inversions, arm balances, and backbends, among others.
In addition to the physical practice, I also incorporate meditation and breathing techniques into the classes. I can guide you through various meditation practices to help you cultivate inner peace, reduce stress and anxiety, and connect with your inner self. I also focus on pranayama, or breath control, to help regulate the breath and enhance the mind-body connection.
I offer modifications and variations for each pose, so you can adapt the practice to suit your individual needs and abilities. During a class we create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your practice and deepen your understanding of yoga.
