Science and English teacher

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of the Visayas, Philippines, batch 2008 after four years of study.
Upon completing my international nursing entry exam and taking IELTS in 2021, I moved to London to work as a cardiology nurse at St. Thomas' Hospital.
Prior to nursing, I worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for 8 years for a well-known Asian platform called 51talk. With them, I was able to obtain a 120-hour training and certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL).
Owning to my time with this platform, I have extensive experience teaching both adults and children and I have in-depth knowledge of IELTS (International English Language Testing System). My specialist area in tutoring is teaching about science, specifically the human body, which I am interested in through my nursing work. As a tutor, I am bubbly, enthusiastic, and empathetic, with the utmost desire to help students reach their full potential.
