Qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and native speaker offering English lessons

Hello! I am a university graduate in French and Spanish, and native English speaker with a TEFL qualification and experience. I live in the north of England with my partner and three teenage children. I have a lot of experience of teaching in different settings, from conversational one-on-ones to formal class teaching here in the UK as well as on my travels and living in Latin America, France, and India. I can help you achieve your language goals, whether that is studying for exams, becoming fluent in conversation, or simply learning something new.

I like to make lessons fun. Depending on your language goals, I will use games, music and themed conversation topics to help you improve your language skills. We are all different and learn at different speeds and in different ways. I will adapt lessons to suit your learning style and interests.

In an initial session I will go through what you want to achieve, and from there we can build a plan to help you reach your goals. We'll review how lessons are going on a regular basis , and can adopt new approaches if necessary. The basis of learning any language is practising it frequently, so you will have plenty of opportunity to speak and improve.
