Qualified English teacher working with adults and young people

Welcome to my profile!

I have 6 years experience of working in secondary schools and colleges with young people and adults.

I have qualified teacher status and a PGDE in secondary English education.

My specialisms are Functional Skills English, GCSE English Language (AQA) and KS3 English. I also have experience with GCSE English Literature and A Level English Language.

I work particularity well with borderline grade 3/4 students, providing them with the specialist skills and knowledge they need to succeed. I provide confidence building activities as well as bespoke and engaging lessons and resources, taking into account the individual needs of the student.

I take a friendly approach and aim to create a positive learning environment where students thrive.
