I am a native English speaker , from South Africa who has tutored students from various backgrounds including SEND.

I cater each lesson to the individual needs of the student. An initial online and paper-based assessment will be completed to get a baseline of the working level.

I use a person centered approach and adapt easily within lessons to achieve retention and appropriate levels of understanding.

I will use a variety of teaching methods and approaches such as visual aids, prompting, redirection, rephrasing yo name a few.

I strongly believe that the student is an active participant in their own leaning and encourage feedback on how I am delivering curriculum.

I can use Google classroom as an added factor in student learning however an in-person approach to learning has proven to be more effective.
