I am a Maths, Physics and Chemistry tutor for all secondary school students tailoring lessons to fit the students needs

My lessons are tailored to fit the needs of the student wether it is tackling exams, revising content or learning new content and skills.

I have finished studying Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Further maths A-level, which I achieved grades A*A*AB in. I am also about to begin studying Chemical engineering and Biotechnology at Cambridge university.

Throughout my years of studying I have learnt techniques on how to revise and tackle exams, which I implement into my lessons whilst understanding the needs of my students and the level they are at. This makes my lessons allow the student to progress further wherever they currently are.

In my first free lesson, I will discuss the goals of the student and areas they want to focus on. I will then move onto doing a short 30 minute lesson so the student can get a feel for whether my teaching style is right for them.

Although my lessons are adapted to the students needs, I will usually begin the lesson with a 5 minute warm up activity relating to what is being taught in the lesson. I will then move onto the main part of the lesson where I will either teach or revise an area of the subject. I will then give the student some practice questions and talk through the questions with the student wherever needed. If students have any preferences on how they want me to structure the lesson, e.g only doing practice exam questions, then I will structure the lesson in the preferred way.
