Advert description
I have years of practical legal experience, predominantly in criminal law. I was fortunate to be effectively personally mentored in my early years. A personalised, practical learning approach from the ground up has allowed me to excel at university. Indeed, I have obtained a first-class mark in every assessment. That said, before learning the law I knew nothing. My reading and writing skills were way below average. However, my 'ground up' learning experience allows me to explain complicated legal issues clearly.
This is an area which I feel is greatly lacking in legal education. Law is a complicated subject, but it can be explained in very simple terms. Struggling students will know how frustrating and demoralising it is to be taught in a way which overcomplicates the law. I'm a firm believer that the law can be effectively taught to everyone no matter their reading level.
I am also aware that learning the law can be tedious and boring. It needn't be so. A ground-up learning experience using tangible real-life examples helps bring the law to life. This not only makes the law more interesting but, in my view and experience, makes it much easier to remember than learning a list of abstract rules (as often occurs in legal education).
In summary, I aim to transform any student's understanding of the law by using real-world examples and explaining the applicable law in very simple layman's terms. This ground-up, tangible approach is the fastest way to achieve the best marks at any level.
