Having taught in India and Singapore, handling different systems and boards, my experience has enriched me as a teacher. I am fairly good in my subject which helps me to deepen my students’ content understanding and learning. I feel confident about handling students’ emotional needs and support them if a need arises. I believe in a holistic approach in teaching and not just students’ academic progress. My interest in developing resources for students with differentiated learning needs helps me as a teacher to teach differently abled students. I am a team player and believe in collaboration with colleagues to help the student progress uniformly across the level.
I try to use differentiated learning resources to help all the students. Pacing it to suit their learning needs. I also identify the students who need extra attention as well as those whose abilities can be stretched further. Challenging the higher ability students with more resources and helping the students with lower abilities with more differentiated resources.
