GCSE English tutor - Level 9 student with a progressive and personal approach to teaching

Hi! I'm Sam, and I'm currently a third-year university student studying philosophy. Besides that, I'd love to help anyone struggling with connecting the dots on their English GCSE.

When I sat mine a few years ago I got a 9 (A**?), and I'll admit this wasn't because I was the smartest student, nor the hardest working. It was because what they ask from you really isn't that complicated when you know what they want.

I remember English classes, barely able to sit through the drivel. You can't really blame the teachers - they have the task of teaching a group of people with wildly differing interests, with varying levels of proficiency at English and myriad learning styles.

In my tutoring, I recognise that every person is a unique soul; everyone learns differently and is turned on by different ways of expressing themselves. I put the student at the centre, and we go from there. My approach may not be for everyone, but for anyone who wants to unlock the writer who's already sleeping inside of them, I'll do my best.
