Experienced GCSE Science Tutor with a specialism in Biology for AQA

An outgoing qualified Teacher of Science, with a specialism in GCSE Biology and a degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am extremely passionate about science and I am keen to make a difference to the lives of young people.
I have 5 years experience as a teacher and I am based in Sheffield, willing to travel to those who require home tutoring. My availability includes:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings

Tutoring Experience:
I have a fresh understanding of the education system at a primary and secondary school level, I have an excellent understanding of the national curriculum and what knowledge is needed by students to be successful in their GCSE exams.
I have worked with a range of families, equipping students with the tools they need to achieve 5-5 up to 9-9.
I am an examiner for the AQA Exam Board and I have 3 years experience with Y11 classes, I have therefore developed excellent resources and strategies to help students succeed.

Tutoring approach:
My approach to tutoring consists of lessons where subject knowledge is weak, or they lack fundamental knowledge needed for the exam. Once subject knowledge is secured with my students, we then spend future sessions looking at different revision strategies and required practicals before going on to doing some past paper exam questions before the real exams take place.
