Advert description
I began self-learning the Japanese language in 2008, fell in love with the language and decided to pursue my studies in it at university level where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language and Culture from Monash University, Australia (Grad. 2016); I also studied abroad at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan in 2015. I visit Japan frequently and have explored many places there! I am a fan of Japanese anime, manga, music, and culture.
I have taught myself, been taught, and taught others Japanese, therefore I have a wide range of experiences, tips, and tricks to help you to learn smartly. My teaching style is designed to get results for long-term learning by giving reason and meaning behind language learning rather than just plain memorisation. If you are willing to put in the effort to learn, I guarantee you will achieve an unshakeable foundation of the basics on your journey towards leaning Japanese!
What I teach you:
• to be able to participate in simple social conversations
• to be able to read and write simple texts in hiragana, katakana, and 29 kanji
• to be able to talk about school/university/work life; be able to ask someone out, describe where things are, talk about events in the past and time relatives.
• to gain insight into some aspects of Japanese culture and society
• to have a foundation for continued study
