An Approachable individual who is patient and communicates well

I am an approachable individual who is patient. I communicate clearly and find ways to explain the subject in different view points for the benefit of the student. My lessons are aimed at everyone who wants to learn and to build up basic mathematical knowledge to use when later achieving higher mathematical qualifications and to use in their careers. My previous experience in working with Barnsley College as a Mathematics Teacher was rewarding and developed my skills to later on continue it alongside my role within the Navy. It included 1 to 1 tutoring and a full class room based from ages between 14 and 60. Within Barnsley College i developed lesson plans which covered each topic found in the Functional Skills and GCSE curriculum. I also developed revision cards on the formulars for each subject to the benefit of students when preparing for exams.
