I am a friendly tutor who is passionate about sharing my love for art and art history

I have a first class degree in Art History from the University of St Andrews and now work as an artist, writer and tutor.

Lessons are online or in person at my home in Tunbridge Wells.

I tutor students taking school or university qualifications in art history, as well as those who want to learn about art for their own enjoyment.

I cater to every student's needs, whether children or adults, and adapt to different learning styles. What's important is making learning about art enjoyable and accessible, so my lessons are fun and interactive.

In the first class, we'll start by understanding what it is you would like to gain from the lessons, what you love about art, and why you want to learn more. From here, I devise sessions that are catered to you.

My teaching style is "relax within a structure". So the lessons feel informal and enjoyable, but there is a structure that helps us learn about: the visual analysis of artworks, the historical and social context of an artwork and artist, wider themes in art history, and our won personal reflections on the artwork.
