Geography Teacher with 20 years experience - All ages taught specialising in in A Level and GCSE

I had Matt as my Geography A level teacher for the last two years and thought he was amazing . We covered the spec in enough detail for us to have depth of knowledge for our exams. I felt as though the content which we covered was of use and without Matt's aid as a teacher this would of not been possible. Matt demonstrates a strong knowledge in the various human and physical topics that are covered in Edexcel geography. For a subject which goes under the radar for being a more challenging A level due to the STEM subjects Matt was able to make it a lot easier for many of us. Case studies were a weakness of many and Matt supported us with them whether in modules such as the Water Cycle or Regenerating places he made sure that gaps which needed to be filled, were filled. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Matt not only with his teaching ability but also his personality making the subject more enjoyable. Classes would all agree that he has to be amongst the best teachers!!

I found every lesson with Matt to be engaging, interesting and improve my own knowledge in many different areas. Matt has really good knowledge above and beyond the specification as well as great methods to answer exam questions which I think has really helped me throughout the different questions.

I have not looked at geography the same since being taught by Matt. His lessons are engaging and interesting, with a broad range of case studies explored and explained using geography. Matt is great at breaking down complex theories and applying them to a wide range of examples that make them easy to understand and apply in an exam.
