I strongly believe education is empowering and I strive to ensure that my students develop a love of learning and gain the skills necessary to become independent life -long geographers and responsible citizens. This means I have planned and delivered lessons by incorporating assessment for learning. I enable students to devise success criteria against learning objectives thus allowing them to gain a clear understanding of how to achieve goals. In addition I encourage students to reflect upon their success by providing self assessment opportunities and inviting them to consider their strengths and weaknesses on given topics.
