French tutor, experience in teaching all levels and ages

I am a French teacher and have taught levels 1-AP (advanced placement) in the high school and middle school levels in the United States. Along with my teaching job, I also tutor elementary students in French.
A typical day in my classroom includes comprehensible input or immersive style learning, with stories and music. However, I do understand that some students need more structure and I tailor my lessons with “bursts” of grammar, without overloading them with rules. In using this method, I immerse my students in the language and culture through exciting, authentic materials.
