Get further with your GCSE English Language and Literature Where in the world can a successful qualification get you? 'Anywhere you wish!' I've always had an interest in English, finding a fascination with the language, vocabulary and the art of communication by painting pictures with words! After completing my degree in English I became a mainstream English class teacher for the last fourteen years, being familiar with AQA, WJEC and Edexcel functional skills. I am motivated by the opportunity to help students excel in their expectations and reach their academic targets. For myself, I have successfully steered exam groups towards passing their grades as well as supporting other small 1to1 tutoring groups develop phonics, SPAG, structuring essays, reading and writing skills I primarily support online, with students having ranged from functional skills entry level up to GCSE finals! My teaching style alters dependant on your age and ability, however I always value building a rapport and creating points of interest for you to engage with the topics we’re focusing. I ensure I make use of this virtual classroom facility to support you. You are guaranteed a dedicated tutor who you can trust to progress you! I am currently a teacher in secondary schools teaching English. Just like in face to face sessions I'd like to make sure you fully understand topics and prepare you well for exams.
