English Tutor for learners of all Levels Beginners to Advance

I have over 30 years experience teaching languages. I have a PGCE and a CELTA grade A. I also received an Award for Teacher of the Year in 2004. I really enjoy sharing my passion for the English language with others.
I will prepare interactive lessons tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements.
My goal is for you to actively practise and help you improve the skills that you are finding the most difficult. Each lesson will focus on a particular topic or a grammar point, and will always include speaking, listening, reading and writing.
I will also try to include popular and traditional culture into the language-learning as it brings the language to life.
If you are preparing for an exam, we will also practise exam style questions often and go through the answers together so we can rectify mistakes as they come up.
Having learnt English as an additional language when I was much younger, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and how to overcome them.
We will always learn through practice with real conversations and role-plays to help you grow in confidence and fluency. I will also correct your pronunciation and intonation so that you can sound more like a native.
I will give you additional tips and techniques to further improve your language skills in between lessons.
