Advert description
I am a recent LLB (Hons) Law graduate, achieving a 2:1 from Queen Mary University of London. I have 3 A levels at grade A*AB, including Psychology, History and Biology.
My expertise are best in written subjects and my skills are best in essay writing and problem solving as these are fundamental for a student of Law. Furthermore, I am proficient in Edexcel History & Psychology A-level & AQA Biology A-level. Moreover, I have best knowledge in AQA English Literature & Language, however, I am flexible with GCSE exam boards.
Although I am not a qualified teacher, I have previous experience in working at schools through being part of the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre during my time at university. I took part in a project where I was tasked in teaching students in schools around Essex about the Equality Act 2010. Being a recent graduate, my exam knowledge and skills are up to date and I am able to relate with students across all year groups in a professional manner.
My teaching style includes putting my students first. I allow for students to come with particular topics that they are struggling with and I ensure I break down these areas into concepts that are easily manageable and better for understanding. I like to focus on past exam paper questions and help students to notice patterns in previous exam mark schemes. For essay based subjects, I help students with essay-planning and give in depth marked feedback of essays.
