My name is Maureen Anyango Wanzala a trained meteorologist & climate scientist, with experience in environmental science, seasonal forecasting, climate modeling, climate change & adaptation, and research and development of climate information services.
I hold a BSc and MSc in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi (Kenya) and a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Reading, UK. I have previously worked as a tutor and module moderator at the university of Reading UK, and Technical University of Kenya (TUK), where I taught science subjects including environmental chemistry. I enjoy reading novels, working out at the Gym, and other outdoor activities such as running, hiking and road trips as well as meeting new people. I speak English and Swahili and Spanish.
