I believe that math should be fun and engaging, not just a series of rules to memorize. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore and experiment. I'll start by building a strong foundation of basic concepts through clear explanations and real-world examples. I’ll use interactive methods like games, puzzles, and real-life problems to make learning enjoyable. I'll also encourage critical thinking by asking probing questions and guiding students to find multiple solutions to problems. Regular practice and feedback will help students solidify their understanding and build confidence. Most importantly, I'll create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without fear of judgment. My focus will be on understanding the 'why' behind the math, rather than just memorizing formulas.
