If you are reading this, I really appreciate you considering me as a tutor. My name is Ryan Chen, and I am a tutor based in the UK. I go to Reading School, and have finished my GCSEs with 9s in nearly all subjects. I specialise in maths, with knowledge well into the A-level course including calculus, logarithms and algebra. However, I am more comfortable teaching at a GCSE standard with more experience at that level. Although maths is where I am comfortable, I can also tutor other subjects including essay subjects or sciences. Apart from academics, music and languages are also fine. I am new to tutoring online, but I have tutored many children in person, including primary students looking to ace their SATs (English, not American) or pass the 11+ to get into a higher education. As a student myself, I fully understand why so many children hate subjects like maths and English, and so I will make lessons somewhat interesting (hopefully!) and will also try to help students overcome their lack of interest in a subject to still do well.
