I have 4 years experience teaching Portuguese and I can say it is my passion once I can share my language and culture as a vehicle of empowerment. I've worked with children, teenagers and adults and I have a very adaptable approach compromised in meetings learners needs. My teaching methodology is centred around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to engage with the material. I prioritize real-life communication and practical language skills, encouraging students to actively participate in conversations, discussions, and activities that simulate authentic language use. I employ a variety of teaching techniques, including visual aids, audio recordings, and kinesthetic activities, to cater to different learning styles and reinforce language acquisition. In addition to language proficiency, I aim to cultivate an appreciation for Portuguese culture and traditions through the integration of authentic materials such as literature, music, and films into my lessons.
