I am a friendly and helpful individual who is able to teach both primary and secondary students.

I believe I am a friendly and polite individual who will plan fun and engaging lessons so that my students are able to leave each lesson feeling confident and content with what they have learnt. I will listen to the student and their needs and set them homework on a weekly basis to ensure they are learning outside of the lessons and school hours so that I can spot mistakes and push them to improve. I understand that the teaching environment can be quite difficult and students are shy to ask for help however I will ensure I build a safe and comfortable environment so that my students never feel like they'll be laughed at or belittled for not knowing the answer and instead feel comfortable to ask questions. Furthermore, I will encourage students to go beyond their ability so that they are able to achieve their goals and be proud of the hard work and effort they have put in along the way. I will set mini tests along the way and towards the exam time, I will be focusing on key skills so that they are able to get the top marks needed to get the best grade possible.
