I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a positive outlook on all aspects of work. I aim to teach 8-11's maths+english.

Positive reinforcement and constant engagement with the pupil is important as it will allow for them to become more comfortable and open but at the same time help them focus and try their best when it comes to producing work. In order for it to work, I will reward good behaviour and encourage them that they're doing great so they do not get put off working due to insecurities and fear of failure. If a child is struggling with work I will help break down the issue they have into more sizable pieces, allowing for them to have a better understanding of the topic. At the end of some lessons I may give them short, concise tasks that I recommend they complete outside of the session. Recaps and summaries will be done at the start and end of every lesson so I know what they have learnt and whether I should progress to the next section or if we should delve deeper into the current.
