My teaching method is from the angel of understanding the learners’ learning needs, and based on personal experiences, I have realised that no one is “unintelligent” and that people learn differently; hence, an additional teaching method I use is a commitment to build an empathic but professional relationship with learners to gain their trust and to create a supportive learning environment where learners are comfortable to share their challenges and seeking guidance. I believe such a relationship or emotional connection between tutors and students enhances effective communication that promotes a collaborative learning experience. In my previous experiences as an educator, training facilitator, and administrator, I have developed a multifaceted skill set that allows me to engage in practical learning environments. Haven, being a student coach, introduced me to the importance of understanding and addressing different learners' unique challenges and goals. I believe in tailoring educational programs to individual needs, acknowledging diverse learning styles, and creating inclusive spaces for knowledge and skill acquisition. Additionally, my role as a training facilitator has provided me with the skills needed to design and facilitate training sessions and educational activities that are both informative and engaging and meet the needs of learners. As a receptionist and administrator, I have developed organisational skills that contribute to the smooth workflow of my team. This includes effective communication, multitasking, prioritisation, time management and attention to detail. This ensures that the learning experience is not only enriching but also well-structured and efficient. Finally, my passion for personal and professional development and positive societal impact is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I am confident in my ability to create a dynamic and friendly learning environment through empathy, adaptability, and a student-centred approach that will be empowering and offer a sense of community.
