Experience:
Despite being relatively new to this field, I possess valuable experience in teaching young students. Notably, I successfully taught two 11+ students, both of whom achieved an outstanding A grade. Additionally, I provided tutoring for KS3 Science, KS4 Biology, and KS3 Mathematics. These experiences have enhanced my understanding of effective teaching methodologies and the importance of tailoring lessons to individual student needs.
Current Work:
In my current role as an independent tutor, I focus on guiding students in KS3 Science and Maths. This position has underscored the significance of active listening and adaptability to ensure a personalised and effective learning experience. Drawing from my background as an NHS Volunteer, I've honed my ability to establish strong rapport, a skill that transcends into my teaching endeavours. My past roles as a football coach and referee have instilled discipline, professionalism, and the importance of fostering a positive learning
What I Teach:
As a private tutor, I am highly adaptable and aspire to teach a diverse range of subjects. I aim to teach 11+ students, AQA GCSE Sciences and Maths, as well as cover EDEXCEL Business and AQA Geography. I am also eager to expand my skills by teaching international students pursuing IGCSE qualifications.
Personal:
Beyond academics, I am an active participant in competitive football, with six years of experience. I've not only played but also coached younger age groups and refereed official games. Additionally, I have a passion for basketball, arts and crafts, and swimming. Being bilingual in English and Bengali,, I bring a multicultural perspective to my interactions. Known for my sense of humour, supportiveness, and kindness, others would describe me as approachable and engaging.
