I am a native speaker of clear American English. My second language is German

I have nearly 20 years experience teaching English to speakers of other languages, mostly at the high beginning to advanced levels. I began teaching English at a multi-national company to employees from Europe, Asia and South America. Now I teach at a community college where most of our students are Hispanic.
My approach to teaching is functional and communicative, teaching the necessary grammar for using English. I try to use various methods, keeping the needs and learning styles of students in mind.
