Biology tutor providing lessons to students in primary and secondary school

Advert description
I am a second year Biomedical Science major at Trinity College Dublin and spend my summers teaching swim to kids of all ages! I took honors biology in high school my junior year and continued with AP biology my senior year. As this is my second year into my biomedical degree, I have much experience with biology and its diverse set of fields it encompasses, such as zoology, biochemistry, ecology, cell biology, etc. I am able to tutor in fields of biology as well as chemistry and maths if needed.
Lessons would be virtual through zoom, google meet, etc. (whatever suits). In lessons I will tailor them to the student and the specific help they need. I like to structure lessons to suit how they as students learn best, whether that is through lots of interactive activities, visuals or reading sources. While coving the content that is required to be learned, I would also love to keep lessons open to learning personal interests of the students as I think that finding what specifically you like about subjects makes learning easier and more enjoyable. I aim to help students truly understand biological concepts. Whether a beginner level of understanding overall concepts such as differences between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells is needed or diving deep into higher level studies with emphasis on molecular biology and seeing where multiple fields merge into one, I am happy to help!
I love science (my favorites are biochemistry, physiology, and developmental biology) and I hope my passion for it emits through my teaching!
