I have a Master’s in Human Geography, but I have been a Head of Department for 10 years. I have been responsible for creating the curriculum for key-stage 3 to key-stage 5 and also creating summative tests to assess the learning of the students and apply this to adjusting future lessons to further increase the learning.

I have tutored before I was a teacher, but I was training at this time. I had a small class of 10 students and I created lessons and took them on a field trip. I had very positive feedback when I qualified as a teacher and had my first job in a Secondary school.

During covid was a time I honed my online teaching skills, and I really enjoyed this aspect. So, as someone whom has stepped away from the classroom for a while, this online opportunity would be great.
