Advert description
I'm currently a student studying for a Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics. I achieved 10 A* GCSEs and 3 A* A-levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I have a 1st Class degree in Physics from Cardiff University, receiving awards for the highest marks in each year of my degree. At school I tutored my peers at GCSE and A level and helped them to achieve a higher grade than they were predicted. I continued to do this at University, tutoring those on my course who had gaps in their knowledge. I have also tutored non-peers studying for GCSEs with equal success. I can teach from 11+ to A level, covering all areas of maths and physics, such as algebra, trigonometry, mechanics and calculus. As a tutor I like to build the confidence of my students in small steps, ensuring they feel confident in every aspect of trying to understand a concept before moving on to the next stage. Being friendly, patient and understanding when communicating with my students underpin how I like to teach. I have a genuine passion for maths and physics and like to enthuse others to get as much out of these fascinating subjects as I have.
