Singing and Acting teacher for Adults and children of all ages

I am a mixed-race, conservatoire trained Actor/Musician who studied at Rose Bruford College, London; gaining a II:I Honours Degree from the University of Manchester. I have worked professionally in Recording Studios, Theatre, Television and Radio. I am currently employed as a vocal tutor for The Rock Project and also as a music theatre/singing coach at St Margaret's Academy - both located in the Torbay area. Previously, I have been employed as a singing tutor for Bexley Adult Education, London and continue to be a private singing and performance coach

My approach to teaching varies depending on the age, desire and prior experience of the
client I am working with, but my lesson plans for singing or acting would always begin with vocal/physical warm up/breathing/relaxation exercises to build stamina and strength and protection of the vocal chords/body; and to create a safe space for the client to feel confident to be able sing/act.

This would be followed by appropriate exercises and choice of texts/songs agreed between the client and myself. The overall approach would be to have fun and feel the joy of singing/acting and encourage a passion for the performing arts.
