Tuition informed by the Student's particular needs

I was educated at London and Oxford Universities. I have four postgraduate qualifications in Philosophy, Film Studies and English, two of them are Masters degrees. I have taught at universities in London, the Henley College and the British Council in Madrid. I qualified as a teacher in 1991. Whatever level I am teaching at, I believe the tutee should be guided through the inquiry by the Socratic Method of directed questioning prompted by the student's response. In this way we can understand together that learning is a collaborative and mutually enlightening process.
